Looking for a jumpstart to your scrapbooking weekend? Look no further than the Preview Crop where you can get situated, catch up with friends, and work on projects! You might also win a prize or get first dibs on products from the Vendor Faire. Sometimes while vendors are setting up their booths, they’ll stop in and show you some of what they’ll be selling. You’ll be the first to be able to purchase these products in the crop and many vendors offer exclusive specials for Preview Crop attendees only!

Plus, as a bonus for attending the Preview Crop, you will receive an early entrance ticket so you can shop the Vendor Faire on Friday morning beginning at 9 am. (Please note: To enter the Vendor Faire, you will also need a Friday Daily Pass and wristband. You can purchase a pass online separately for $6. Daily Passes can also be purchased at the ticket sales counter on the day of the show.)

Convention crops are a popular place to be and a reunion time for many scrapping friends! We try to maximize the set up of the crop room to accommodate as many scrappers as we can. We realize that it is important to have room to work on your projects so we highly recommend that you think carefully about what you will realistically accomplish during the crops and only bring those supplies with you. Some croppers work on page kits or finish up projects from classes at the crop to streamline the supplies they need to bring. Keep in mind that a convention crop is not going to have the same space you have at home or at a retreat and that 1 crop ticket equals 1 crop seat/table space, so streamline your supplies or coordinate tools and supplies with your friends to maximize your table space!

You may bring your rolling tote to the crop. However, handcarts and wagons are not permitted. These should be used for loading/unloading and taken out of the room or collapsed and tucked under your area. Be sure to mark your supplies clearly with your name. After all, you'd be surprised how many scrappers have the same tools as you!

Please note that this tray has been modified by her staff to fit a smaller format of approximately 17” x 11” (so it is slightly refurbished).

In class you will learn mixed media techniques, and adorn your tray with papers, embellishments and other vintage items to create this one of a kind home decor piece.

Feel free to bring some of your own trinkets and or pictures in various sizes from 1” x 1” to no larger than 2 ½”, to make it your own.

A lovely hand addressed card or envelope is a lost art! Add a personal touch to holiday cards, wedding invitations, or any correspondence with traditional Calligraphy. This technique based class will introduce you to Old English style Calligraphy. This is not italic, but rather the more traditional style (think newspaper mastheads). The lower case alphabet will be practiced, with like letters shown together so you can begin to master the basic skills needed to form letters. You will receive a double ended felt tipped Calligraphy pen to keep (great for left or right handers), practice papers with guides, and a bonus sheet of the upper case letters to try at home.  This is fast paced but fun, with prizes given at the end of class.

We’ll also be joined by vendors at crop sales tables; just in case you didn’t get enough shopping in during the day. They will be selling product at great deals so you can make those late night purchases.

We’ll provide the maximum cropping space for our attendee “characters”. We realize that it is important to have room to work on your projects. We highly recommend that you think carefully about what you will realistically accomplish during the crops and only bring those supplies with you. Some croppers work on page kits or finish up projects from classes at the crop to minimize the supplies they need to bring. You may bring your rolling tote to the crop. However, handcarts and wagons are not permitted. Be sure to mark your supplies clearly with your name. After all, you’d be surprised how many scrappers have the same tools as you!

As for the space, we always work to provide the maximum cropping space for our attendees. We realize that it is important to have room to work on your projects. We highly recommend that you think carefully about what you will realistically accomplish during the crops and only bring those supplies with you. Some croppers work on page kits or finish up projects from classes at the crop to minimize the supplies they need to bring. 

You may bring your rolling tote to the crop. However, handcarts and wagons are not permitted. Be sure to mark your supplies clearly with your name. After all, you’d be surprised how many scrappers have the same tools as you!
